What? A few of our friends decided to pitch in and buy us an aquarium as a wedding gift. We ended up with a biOrb 60 (in the US, it's known as a Mega biOrb). It's manufactured by Reef One Where? Our first problem was trying to figure out where we could put it. It had to be in a place where we could easily see it, but not in the way and we needed a sturdy piece of furniture to put the biOrb on. Also the feng shui mattered too. So after some careful thought, we decided to put it on the credenza in our foyer. Who? We then spent a lot of time trying to figure out what we wanted to put in it. We decided on a fresh water tank as I didn't want to deal with the responsibility of a salt water one. We decided on a type of freshwater fish called Killifish. I'll go into more details on the inhabitants in the How? part. When? So I consider our biOrb's birthday to be on Halloween October 31, 2007 How? The first step in setting up the biOrb, is to cycle it. I spent a lot of time reading up on how each hobbiest out there does it.
